The stories we tell
Honest, unhurried photography that gives space for something real to unfold.
Motherhood + Family
These sessions are about the shape of your life together: the familiar rituals, changing relationships and small details you won’t realise you’ll miss until after they have gone.
We might spend a slow morning at home, meet in your garden or head somewhere your family loves. I’ll offer gentle direction when it’s helpful, while leaving room for everyone to move, play and be themselves.
Maternity, newborn, motherhood and family sessions.
Couples
For engagements, anniversaries, new chapters or no particular reason at all. A little time set aside to be together—and to make photographs of who you are with one another now.
There is no need to know how to pose. We’ll choose somewhere that feels right, and I’ll create enough direction and movement for the two of you to settle into being yourselves.
Couples, engagements and intimate celebrations.
Brand + Creative
For artists, makers and thoughtful businesses who want photographs with a sense of personality, place and purpose—not simply a collection of polished content.
We’ll begin with what you make, how you work and how you want people to feel when they encounter your brand. From there, we’ll create a loose visual plan with enough structure to tell a cohesive story and enough freedom for unexpected moments.
Personal branding, lifestyle campaigns, creative businesses and editorial projects.

Say hello
We’ll make a plan
Let it unfold
Tell me what you’re imagining: who or what is at the heart of it, where you picture it unfolding and how you hope the photographs might feel. The more you share, the more I can understand what matters to you.
Before the session, we’ll have a relaxed consultation call—a chance to meet one another and turn those first thoughts into a loose plan. I’ll bring ideas of my own, and together we’ll consider the setting, light, clothing and how we might spend our time.
Think of the session as a slightly romanticised version of an ordinary day: a slow morning at home, time in the garden, a favourite walk, cooking together or working with your hands. Something a little more intentional than usual, but still recognisably yours. You live it; I’ll photograph what unfolds around us.
A few things you might be wondering
-
Somewhere that feels like you. That might be your home, your garden, a favourite stretch of coastline or the place where you make and work. It doesn’t need to be impressive—the familiar often holds the most meaning. We’ll talk through the possibilities during our consultation and choose somewhere that suits both the story and the light.
-
Something comfortable, recognisable and easy to move in. Rather than coordinating perfectly, think about colours and textures that feel good together while still allowing everyone to look like themselves. If you’re uncertain, bring your ideas to our consultation or send me a few photographs of what you’re considering—I’m always happy to help.
-
A little wind or rain can bring something wonderful to a photograph, so imperfect weather doesn’t always mean changing our plans. I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and, if the conditions are likely to make the session uncomfortable or unsafe, we’ll find another date. The same applies if someone is unwell; let me know as soon as you can and we’ll work out what makes sense.
-
I share a small selection from each session on my website and social media. If there are particular photographs or parts of your story that you would prefer to keep private, just let me know—I will always respect that.
I never share a child’s face online. Any photographs of children will be naturally anonymous or carefully obscured first.

Travel within Brighton & Hove is included. I photograph throughout the UK and spend part of each year in New Zealand and the Pacific Northwest, so you are always welcome to enquire from further afield. Any additional travel costs will be discussed clearly and included in your quote before you book—there won’t be any surprises afterwards.

Yes. Your gallery will include high-resolution downloads and permission to print your photographs for personal use. I can also help you order professionally made prints, so the photographs can live somewhere beyond your camera roll.
